Features:

Active Principle: Nitrofurantoin

Indications: It is effective in the prevention of urinary tract infections.

Chemotherapy for cavity disinfection of the urinary tract in infections with sensitive organisms, including: E. coli , Klebisiellas , Enterococci, Enterobacteriaceae, and Staphylococci. Acute and chronic infections: Pileitis , cystitis, pyelonephritis. In surgery, as prophylaxis against infections.

Products: Antibacteria.

Dosage and use:

• 100 mg every 6 or 12 hours for 7 days or until sterile urine is obtained.
• Adults: 1 capsule 2 or 3 times a day for 4 to 7 days. Not more than 10.
• <strongFrom 12 to 14 years old: 1 capsule 2 times a day for 4 to 7 days.
• Chronic Urinary Infections: Long-lasting therapy for adults, 1 or 2 capsules daily.

* It will be taken after meals.

Presentations: 100 mg capsules: Box with 2 blister of 10 capsules each.

Contraindications: Anuria, oliguria, polyneuropathy, allergic reaction to nitrofurantaine . High blood urea levels. Clearance lower creatinine 40ml / min. Care is recommended in case of excretion disorders and during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Infants and newborns.
