Features:

Active Principle: Nitazoxanide

Indications: For the treatment of infections by amoebas, giardias , trichomonas, balantidium and blastocystis as well as pinworm, ascaris, whipworm, hookworm, strongyloid , fasciola liver and tapeworms and treatment of diarrhea by cryptosporidium.

Products: Antiparasitary

Dose and use:

• Children from 1 to 3 years: 5 ml every 12 hours, for 3 days.
• Children from 4 to 11 years old: 10 ml every 12 hours, for 3 days.
• Children from 12 to 15 years old: 15 ml every 12 hours, for 3 days.

Presentations:

• 100 mg / 5 mL SUSPENSION POWDER: Box x 1 bottle x 20.58 g of powder to reconstitute 60 ml of oral suspension.
• 500 mg COATED TABLETS: Box x 1 blister x 6 coated tablets

Contraindications: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Nitazoxanide or any of the components of the product. Not recommended for use in Pregnancy and in children under two years of age.
